The project is located in Tinh Bien district, An Giang province, Vietnam. The site has a total area of 68 ha. Total design capacity is 50MW. It is expected to build a new 220kV substation, located south of the site.

In order to satisfy the design and construction work of Van Giao 2 50MW photovoltaic powers Station, a topographic survey and geological survey of photovoltaic field and substation are needed.

Viet Hydrographic Survey Co., Ltd (‘VHS’) was contracted by PowerChina Zhongnan Engineering Co., Ltd (herein referred to as ‘PCZ’) to carry out the on-land topographical survey about 68 hectares with scale of 1:500 and 32 soil investigation boreholes.
